Makita M3700B Router / Trimmer features cutting depth can be adjusted smoothly and precisely with a rack and pinion type of fine depth adjustment. Makita M3700B with an angle-adjustable base can perform chamfering with a straight bit. It has plunge capacity of 0-42 mm, collet size 6mm or 1/4″.

The Makita M3700B features a powerful 4amp / 530 watt motor with a variable speed control dial (0-35,000 RPM) that enables the user to match the speed to the application. It is ideal for smooth trimming and light routing applications. Additional performance features include electronic speed control to maintain constant speed under load, and soft start feature for smooth start-ups. The Makita M3700B is double-insulated with a heavy-duty aluminum motor housing for increased durability.

Additional features include a slim and ergonomic design that weighs only 1.4 kg, with a durable flat top design for added convenience when changing bits. The base can be removed quickly to install other bases (sold separately), and the shaft lock is engineered for quick and easy bit changes. The Makita M3700B Router / Trimmer uses 6mm shank router bits.
